SeaFarm Solutions AS have developed a new concept for feeding fish in aquaculture, that enables adding water and other ingredients to the feed on the edge of the enclosure, so the fish can maintain their natural saltcontent. Water is added as part of the feeding process.

The concept is innovative and will provide the aquaculture industry with significant environmental and productivity gains, by improving fish health and lowering pollution. The feeding system has significantly lower levels of spilled feed and absolutely no microplastic emission during the feeding process as the feed is transported by seawater. The system requires minimal operating energy and can be integrated in existing breeding facilities.
